  "TATA SELO" BY ROGELIO SIKAT              A JOURNEY OF MISFORTUNE, UNWAVERING LOVE  AND RESILIENCE   OVERVIEW OF TATA SELO STORY       The story of Tata Selo, written by Rogelio Sikat, is a literary piece about a farmer and his accidental involvement in the murder of Kabesang Tano.      Tata Selo's story begins with the loss of his wife to illness, leaving their daughter Saling alone with him. Tata Selo, wanting to reclaim his land which he had sold to pay for his wife's medical expenses, decides to work hard to regain his lost property.      However, conflict arises when Kabesang Tano demands that Tata Selo vacate the land, claiming he has other farmers lined up. Despite Tata Selo's pleas to stay, Kabesang Tano repeatedly hits him.
